Normand Landry

Vice President, Airport Division

Normand Landry holds a Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering degree from the Royal Military College of Canada and a Master of Aerospace Engineering degree from Cranfield University, UK. Throughout his career, which includes both civilian and military roles, Normand has led many technical projects, including basic aircraft modifications, flight tests, large-scale aerospace projects, overseeing military maintenance personnel, and deployed multi-aircraft operations. Normand has also managed projects that involved coordinating multi-disciplinary teams of international specialists. 

In addition to his aviation and aerospace experience, Normand has over 15 years of economic development consulting experience across a wide range of industry sectors. Over the last decade, Normand has been involved in highly technical projects involving emerging technologies and  innovation across many sectors including the agri-foods industry. Combining this knowledge with his existing aviation and aerospace knowledge has allowed Normand to successfully lead many new types of economic development, airport development, supply chain, and innovation projects. 

As Vice-President of the Airport Division for The Loomex Group and Explorer Solutions, Normand is responsible for all aspects of the companies’ consulting projects along with airport operations and management. He also oversees and contributes to the preparation of business, marketing and economic development plans as well as airport economic and master plans.
