Lisa Davidson

Director, Airports 

Lisa Davidson joined The Loomex Group in 2015. She has an extensive amount of aviation knowledge and a vast amount of industry experience, including time on the board of the Airport Management Council of Ontario. She was also a standards officer for the Department of National Defence, Canadian Armed Forces (Reserves). In that role, Lisa spent five years helping deliver a flight-training program for youths, which involved coordinating up to 40 students and 15 staff. In addition to her previous work experience, Lisa holds Transport Canada-certified glider pilot and private pilot licenses and a Glider Instructor Rating. She is also a member of the International Association of Airport Executives and is working towards her IAAE Airport Executive accreditation.

As Director of Airports, Lisa oversees the ten airports managed by The Loomex Group. One of her main tasks is ensuring that the airports remain compliant with applicable legislation. This responsibility involves monitoring each airport’s administrative duties and day-to-day operations. Through her supervision, Lisa verifies that the airports receive the necessary support for their communication, administrative, operational, and safety management functions. Overall, Lisa works to ensure the airports run effectively to meet the demands of various situations, from routine operations to airfield and groundside emergencies. Her goal is to help each airport provide a safe environment for its team and airport community.
