Peterborough Airport

Peterborough Airport  

Loomex Property Management is responsible for the operation, management, construction coordination, grounds keeping and custodial services of the Peterborough Airport.  Along with their partners at the City of Peterborough, Loomex takes pride in their ability to maintain the airport as a prime example of a high functioning modern aviation centre. As the busiest small airport in Ontario and through a $30 million + expansion, Loomex has continued to offer seamless, quality service to the City, pilots, construction crews and new investors.

City of Kawartha Lakes Municipal Airport

Loomex Property Management is responsible for the management, maintenance, and grounds keeping of the City of Kawartha Lakes Airport.  Reporting to the Board of Directors in partnership with the City of Kawartha Lakes, Loomex takes pride in providing a safe and welcoming environment for all tenants, pilots, and visitors to the Airport.  Loomex works with tenants and community organizations to promote and encourage the growth of the Airport.

Greenstone Regional Airport & Nakina Airport


Loomex Property Management is responsible for the management and operations of the Greenstone Regional Airport and the Nakina Airport. Both airports are owned by the Corporation of the Municipality of Greenstone that we work in partnership with to ensure smooth operations at both locations.

Greenstone Airport activity consists of movements by aircraft charters, medevac flights, and Ministry of Natural Resources fire detection and fire response aircraft. The Greenstone Regional Airport also has sea plane facilities located at Hutchison Lake. The Nakina Airport  facility consists of a 3,500 foot runway (09/27), modern terminal building and fuelling amenities.


Seneca College School of Aviation-Peterborough Campus

Loomex Property Management is responsible for grounds keeping at the Seneca College Peterborough campus. The Seneca facility accommodates approximately 150 students, 50 faculty, 14 aircraft in the main hangar, a cold storage hangar housing six aircraft, eight flight simulators, maintenance hangar, two state of the art classrooms, faculty space, student lounge and study areas. In order to accommodate the new facility the Peterborough Airport underwent significant infrastructure upgrades, including the addition of a crosswind runway, parallel taxiway extension to the primary runway, and additional aprons. The construction and development of these airside projects were managed and overseen by Loomex Property Management.
